Saw Cyre get covered by the grey mists of what is now the Mournland while crossing the Cyre river into the Talenta plains with his parents. His mother died of a sickness soon after and his father joined the Blademarks in Sharn. A year later Alek joined. Alek’s father disappeared on a mission into the Mournland and ever since Alek tried to become strong enough to follow his father into the Mournland and find out what happened to him.
Alek met what would become the Line of the Mark while working on a case with his friend and mentor Krusk. Krusk was petrified during the mission and Alek seeking answers decided to join with the adventurers. That started a friendship and partnership leading them all over the world, discovering hidden secrets, and making powerful enemies. In recent times it seems there are world spanning events that the Line seems to find themselves in the middle of. Hopefully Alek is up to the task along with the rest of the Line of the Mark.
Alek’s Goals Now that Alek has found his fathers fate and has the talking sword to prove it he’s looking for the next step in his life. Almost driven insane by an encounter with beings from beyond reasoning in Ashenport he set out to leave this life of adventuring but had one thing to finish. All he has to do is stop Calista’s younger brother Callen from the life they’ve all chosen by finding him and bringing him home. Things are never as easy as they should be though as a vacation once taught him.
